Filmmaker and cinematographer based in Rio, studied Film at Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF) and Cinematography at Louis Lumière Film School in Paris and Visual Arts at the School of Fine Arts of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). She directed the shorts Birdie (2003), Ararat (2014), Asphalt and Red Earth (2010). Chão (Landless, 2019), her first feature-length creative documentar, premiered at the 69th Berlinale Forum, and has been screened in various national and international festivals such as True/False (USA), Doc Montevideo (Uruguai), Doc Lisboa (Portugal), Viennale (Austria), IDFA (Amsterdam), São Paulo International Film Festival, Forum Doc, and prized at Curitiba International Film Festival, Festival do Rio, and Festival Jean Rouch (Paris). She is the cinematographer of several feature and short films such as Future June (2015), The Birds are Busy (2016), Lower House (2018); Every Paulo in the world, (2017) and the shorts such as Peixe (Fish, 2014), Incidents in the library (2011), by João Vieira Torres.
